I've always wanted to make a Quake movie, so I actually made one. I present King of Fire, with frags by myself from the last few months. The first half is TDM, the second half is Duel and a bit of CA.
I didn't have a lot of material to work with (or any previous video-editing experience for that matter), but it turned out almost exactly how I envisioned it and I'm really satisfied with the results.
Movie-making is exciting and feels very rewarding, however it is also an incredibly demanding, exhausting and time-consuming experience. It also uses up an insane amount of HD space.
