Reaching Higher Grounds by Djordje "zeroql" Simonovic, presented by fragster, is a Quake Live Ramp Jump Tricking Movie on Stock Maps. Ramp Jumps can be enabled on private servers, modifying Chain Jumps by adding jumping speed to the normal vertical speed boost when performing closely timed jumps and were introduced to QL with the Update on October 26, 2010.

Review:

This video is one of the best Quake Live trick jumping examples that's been released in my opinion. It showcases "Ramp Jumps", something similar to over-jumping in Halo. This video definitely puts QL on the pedestal. Though not as extreme as Quake 3, Quake Live is definitely moving towards a good place for video makers and trick jumpers alike. Freecamming is now possible through the use of community made software and private servers allow for custom settings. Being a free game, I think everyone should give it a shot. Ill make a post soon for absolute beginners on how to get it running and setting up a basic config. For those of you who have tried setting up DeFrag, this is something that is much easier to get into and less of a hassle. Enjoy. All Credit is due to the original creators.
